Everbuild Everflex Lead Mate Sealant in Grey supplied in a 295ml cartridge. This low modulus, neutral cure silicone sealant is specially formulated for use with soft metals such as lead, brass, copper, and zinc.
Designed as a reliable alternative to mortaring lead flashing and sheet into brick, stone, or concrete, it provides strong adhesion without causing staining or corrosion. The formulation offers outstanding weather resistance, maintaining flexibility and durability in both high and low temperatures.
Its neutral cure chemistry ensures compatibility with sensitive materials, delivering a long-lasting, watertight joint that accommodates movement and environmental stress.
Ideal for parapet and roof sealing applications, with high performance retained across a temperature range from -50°C to +150°C.

Installation Guidance
- Surface preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and contaminants.
- Priming: Generally not required, though small-area adhesion testing is advised prior to application.
- Joint design: Minimum width 6mm; depth no greater than width; for joints up to 10mm wide use 5mm depth.
- Application: Cut cartridge tip and nozzle at 45°, apply using a standard sealant gun at consistent pressure.
- Tooling: Smooth the sealant with a spatula or timber piece for best finish; remove masking tape within 5 minutes.
- Cleaning: Clean uncured sealant with white spirit; remove cured material with Everbuild Silicone Eater.
- Limitations: Not for use with bitumen, asphalt, neoprene, or oil-bleeding substrates.
